This wiki provides instructor support for teaching and course development in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. Although the focus is on teaching in Math, it will likely be useful for all instructors.

  • Bongo - A component in LEARN to facilitate video assignments
  • Crowdmark - Grading platform for assignments and tests including multiple choice exams
  • iClicker - An in-class polling tool. See also Vevox and Mathmatize.
  • LEARN - UWaterloo's Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Markbox - Another platform to administer and grade multiple choice exams
  • Mathmatize - An in-class polling tool designed especially for math. See also Vevox.
  • Microsoft Teams - A course can be given a MS Team with membership managed automatically by a LEARN integration
  • Mobius - Content delivery platform and automated assessment tool
  • MS Bookings - An online appointment booking tool ideal for online office hours
  • Odyssey - Exam management system
  • Outline - UWaterloo's system for storing course outlines
  • PebblePad - An e-portfolio platform
  • PeerScholar - A platform for peer grading of student work
  • Piazza - Discussion board friendly for mathematics and CS
  • Perusall - Online annotation tool, allowing students to collaborate while annotating text
  • Qualtrics An online survey tool. Similar to MS Forms. LEARN also has a survey tool.
