Instructors are encouraged to use the online course repository, Outline, developed by Science Computing – to enter all course outlines. A more advanced version was released in May 2019.

The benefits of using Outline include that you’ll meet:

  • Accessibility requirements (including updated standards for 2020)
  • All the mandatory components required by Senate as they are automatically filled in
  • Our goal of developing a solid bank of syllabi.

In addition, the interface will accept LaTeX input and the outlines generated by this service are consistently formatted, web-accessible, and automatically stored for future reference or re-use. Science Computing continues to add more futures such as student course schedule ‘heat map’).
