Instructors are encouraged to use the online course repository, [https://outline.uwaterloo.ca/ Outline], developed by Science Computing –  to enter all course outlines. A more advanced version was released in May 2019.
 
The benefits of using Outline include that you’ll meet:
* Accessibility requirements (including updated standards for 2020)
* All the mandatory components required by Senate as they are automatically filled in
* Our goal of developing a solid bank of syllabi.
 
In addition, the interface will accept LaTeX input and the outlines generated by this service are consistently formatted, web-accessible, and automatically stored for future reference or re-use. Science Computing continues to add more futures such as student course schedule ‘heat map’).
